Biography:

  George Allison is co-partner of Mira Productions LLC and currently collaborating with co-producer Dee Sutton on development of an original full length stage production to open in New York this fall.

  George was lucky to attend a high school that produced 8 shows every year.  This gave him lots of opportunity not only to be exposed to everything from Arthur Miller to Hello Dolly but also a chance to get his feet wet as a Set Designer.

  While attending Rutgers University Design Program, he worked locally at Ocean County College designing over 100 of their shows - continuing for 10 years - until he started NYU Tisch School of the Arts, graduating in 1989 with an M.F.A. in Scenic Design.

vvAfter several years of working Regional and Off Broadway he got a call to assist at ABC News for 3 weeks, which turned into 3 years. At the end of '95, he became the Senior Staff Designer at ABC News.  He designed through 2 presidential elections, many specials, Times Square Studio & the 24 Hour Millennium show.  His work has taken him around the world.

  After his recent work on the new show "The Runner" for Live Planet/ABC Entertainment, he left ABC News to concentrate on work in film.
